one last question?
You set the fee for each role, between 5 and 30%. You only pay it once the person is hired. No fixed fees, no deposit. If you don't hire, you pay nothing. The Muzzo team helps you choose the right amount.
You have a double guarantee. If your new hire leaves within 3 months, we restart the search at no cost. If we don't find a replacement within 4 months, we refund 50% of the fees. On average, 94% of new hires are still in post after 3 months.
Click “get started” and describe your role in two steps. The Muzzo team gets back to you to refine the need. Then the headhunters with the most hires for that job get to work. Launching is free, with no exclusivity.

the reality
a plant recruits for ten different jobs at once
your site isn't in a big city
Many plants are far from the big cities. The right profiles often already live near another industrial site. A headhunter who knows the local job market knows who to approach, and how to present your site.
the shop floor, the office and the field have nothing in common
A machine setter, a technical salesperson and a management controller aren't found in the same place. At Muzzo, each role goes to the headhunter with the most hires for that job, not to a single recruiter.
export and languages: the rare skill
An engineer who works in German, a sales administrator who handles imports, a key account manager for international clients: these profiles exist, but few agencies know how to find them.
the roles
the manufacturing profiles our headhunters find for you
At least 191 hires signed at 81 manufacturing companies since 2022, from production to finance.
industrial electrician and electromechanic
They wire, troubleshoot and maintain the machines. Without them, production stops. These are the roles our manufacturing clients hand us most often.
already hired in manufacturing
maintenance technician and field technician
At the plant or at your clients' sites, they keep your equipment running. The field technician covers a territory and represents your brand on the ground.
already hired in manufacturing
machine setter and CNC operator
They set up and run the machining equipment. A good setter saves hours of production every week.
already hired in manufacturing
design office and electrical engineer
They design the products and the equipment the plant builds. For these roles, see also our dedicated engineering page.
already hired in manufacturing
quality manager
They own standards, client audits and supplier quality. In manufacturing, they must know the shop floor as well as the procedures.
already hired in manufacturing
technical salesperson and key account manager
They sell a technical product to industrial buyers who know their subject. Understanding the technology is what makes them credible.
already hired in manufacturing
buyer and sales administrator
They get materials in on time and follow orders through to delivery, often for export.
already hired in manufacturing
accountant and management controller
They track production costs, margins and inventory. In manufacturing, the cost price is calculated to the cent.
already hired in manufacturing
branch director and operations manager
They run a site or a business line: teams, production, clients, results. We look for someone who has already done it in manufacturing.

the method
one headhunter per role, not one firm for everything
We have tracked every headhunter since November 2020, on three criteria: how many hires they make, the quality of their profiles, their speed.
you describe the role
You fill in the form, then we talk it through: the job, the site, the working hours, the salary. You set the fee, between 5 and 30%.
we choose the headhunters
From more than 2,500 selected headhunters, we keep those with the most hires for your role and your region.
you meet the right profiles
The headhunters approach and check every profile. You receive a handful of CVs, all of them relevant.
you only pay if you hire
Nothing to pay upfront. No fixed fees, no deposit.
hiring in manufacturing
why use an industrial recruitment agency
Industrial recruitment happens in a narrow market. According to France Travail's 2026 labour needs study (BMO), industry plans 211,000 hires, and 48% of those plans are rated difficult. Manufacturing alone employs 2.9 million people in France, according to Insee, the national statistics office (2023 data).
Skilled people are already in post, often at another site in the same labour pool. An industrial recruitment agency goes to find them directly, with a clear project to put in front of them: the site, the team, the equipment, the prospects.

the hardest industrial roles to fill
Shop floor roles are the tightest. In France Travail's 2025 BMO study, employers rated 80.2% of their hiring plans as difficult for boilermaking and sheet-metal fabrication, 79.8% for machining equipment operators and 79.1% for electrical and electronic maintenance.
These are also the roles our manufacturing clients hand us most often: industrial electricians, electromechanical technicians, machine setters, CNC operators, maintenance technicians. In the office, design engineers, quality managers and technical sales reps round out the list.

agreements, certifications, standards: what the headhunter checks
Since 1 January 2024, the national collective agreement for the metalworking industry has replaced the regional agreements and grades each job by what it actually involves. For a hire, the job grade sets the minimum salary: better to know it before approaching anyone.
On the ground, the headhunter checks electrical safety clearances, welding qualifications, command of CNC machines or CAM software, and experience with your industry's quality standards: automotive, aerospace, food, nuclear. You set these requirements in the brief.
hiring away from big cities and for export
Many plants are located outside big cities. The people who could join you often work at another site in the region. A headhunter who knows the local labour pool knows who to approach, and how to present your site, your shift patterns and your prospects.
Export adds another constraint. According to Insee, large and mid-sized industrial companies generate 59% of the export revenue of all French companies. An engineer who works in German, an import sales administrator, an international key account manager: we have already recruited these profiles for manufacturers.
how Muzzo runs your manufacturing search
Your role goes to the headhunters with the most hires for that job, chosen from more than 2,500 selected headhunters. Your industrial electrician and your management controller don't go through the same person. When you open several roles at once, for a new production line for example, several headhunters work in parallel.
You set the fee, between 5 and 30%, and you only pay on hire. If your new hire leaves within 3 months, we restart the search at no cost. If no replacement is found within 4 months, we refund 50% of the fees. On average, 94% of new hires are still in post after 3 months.
your questions about hiring in manufacturing
On average, a Muzzo hire takes 26 days, across all roles, over the last 12 months. For an industrial site, the timing depends mostly on the role and the region. The Muzzo team gives you an estimate from your first conversation.
Yes. Industrial electricians, electromechanical technicians, machine setters, CNC operators: these are actually the roles our manufacturing clients hand us most often.
A traditional agency hands your role to its own recruiters. Muzzo hands it to the headhunters with the best results for that job, chosen from more than 2,500 selected headhunters. Your electrician and your management controller don't go through the same person.
Yes. We choose the headhunters by role and by region. They know the other industrial sites in the area and where to find the profiles who could join you.
Yes. Branch manager, site manager, operations manager, production team leader: our manufacturing clients have already handed us these roles. The headhunter looks for someone who has already led a team in manufacturing, with measurable results.
