one last question?

You set the fee for each role, between 5 and 30%. You only pay it once the person is hired. No fixed fees, no deposit. If you don't hire, you pay nothing. The Muzzo team helps you choose the right amount.

You have a double guarantee. If your new hire leaves within 3 months, we restart the search at no cost. If we don't find a replacement within 4 months, we refund 50% of the fees. On average, 94% of new hires are still in post after 3 months.

Click “get started” and describe your role in two steps. The Muzzo team gets back to you to refine the need. Then the headhunters with the most hires in that field get to work. Launching is free, with no exclusivity.

the reality

a good trainer alone can't run a training centre

01

good teachers are already in front of a class

A recognised trainer has their groups and their schedule. They don't read job ads. A headhunter who knows the sector knows their work and when they can move.

02

teaching, selling, running: three jobs

An instructional designer, a training sales rep and a centre director are not hired from the same networks. At Muzzo, each role goes to the headhunter who knows that job.

03

the start of term won't wait

Start of term, apprenticeship intakes, quality audits: the role has to be filled before the deadline, not after. Several headhunters can work at the same time.

the roles

the profiles our headhunters find for training providers

From the classroom to management, each role goes to a headhunter who knows that job.

  1. trainer and expert trainer

They run sessions and help learners progress. We look for trainers who also know the job they teach.

  2. instructional designer

They design learning paths, online modules and assessments. The key role in a digital learning offer.

  3. head of learning

They organise programmes, the team of trainers and learner follow-up. They guarantee the quality of what is sold.

  4. centre, school or campus director

They own the budget, the teams, learner recruitment and relations with companies. We look for someone who has done it before.

  5. training sales and business developer

They sell training to companies and funders. A job where you need to know how funding works.

  6. corporate relations and apprenticeship officer

They find host companies and follow apprenticeship contracts. They are the ones who fill the cohorts.

  7. quality and compliance manager

They prepare audits and keep indicators and the Qualiopi certification up to date. Without them, funding stops.

  8. edtech project manager and developer

Learning platform, online tools, app: an edtech company needs a real product and tech team.

the method

one headhunter per role, not one firm for everything

We have tracked every headhunter since November 2020, on three criteria: how many hires they make, the quality of their profiles, their speed.

01

you describe the role

You fill in the form, then we talk it through: the job, the level, the salary. You set the fee, between 5 and 30%.

02

we choose the headhunters

From more than 2,500 selected headhunters, we keep those with the most hires in your field.

03

you meet the right profiles

The headhunters approach and check every profile. You receive a handful of CVs, all of them relevant.

04

you only pay if you hire

Nothing to pay upfront. No fixed fees, no deposit.

recruitment in the training sector

training recruitment agency: why headhunting works

A good trainer has their groups and their schedule. A good instructional designer is busy with projects. Neither spends their days on job boards, and people who can run a training centre or a school are rarer still.

A training recruitment agency that works through direct approach looks for them in training providers, schools, apprenticeship centres and edtech companies, then checks their teaching practice and references before introducing them to you.

training recruitment agency: why headhunting works

the key roles in training recruitment

On the teaching side: trainers and expert trainers, instructional designers, academic managers. On the management side: centre, school or campus directors, quality managers. On the business side: training sales, employer relations and apprenticeship officers.

Edtech companies add project managers, developers and product people to build learning platforms. Teaching, selling and running a centre are three different jobs, hired through different networks.

the key roles in training recruitment

Qualiopi and funding: hiring people who know the rules

Since 1 January 2022, a French training provider must hold the Qualiopi certification to access public and pooled training funds: OPCOs, the State, the Regions, the Caisse des dépôts, France Travail, Agefiph. The requirement comes from article 6 of the law of 5 September 2018 on the freedom to choose one's professional future, as the regional labour authority (DREETS) points out.

In practice, a quality manager, academic manager or centre director must know how to prepare an audit and keep the indicators up to date. A training salesperson must know how their clients fund training. The headhunter checks this experience before any interview with you.

hiring a trainer: status and collective agreement

Private training providers in France apply the national collective agreement for training organisations (IDCC 1516), in force since 1989. A trainer may also work as a freelancer or on a sessional basis, and many expert trainers still practise their trade alongside.

The headhunter clarifies the intended status from the start and checks that the candidate knows the learners: employees in continuing education, apprentices, jobseekers. A live training sequence shows the teaching, not just the CV.

the sector calendar: new academic year, sessions, apprenticeships

Training runs on the rhythm of the academic year, course sessions and apprenticeship contracts. An academic manager or employer relations officer hired after the start of term means a cohort that starts badly.

It pays to start the search before the deadline. Several headhunters can work at the same time on different roles, and a Muzzo hire is signed in 26 days on average: enough to hold a tight calendar.

how our headhunters recruit for training providers

You describe the role: the job, the learners, the format, the seniority. Muzzo gives the mission to the headhunters who have already recruited for that job, chosen from more than 2,500 selected headhunters we have tracked since November 2020.

They approach candidates directly, including those who are not looking, run the interviews and practical exercises, then check references. You only meet the shortlisted profiles. You set the fee, between 5 and 30%, and you only pay it when you hire.

training recruitment agency or Muzzo: what changes

A specialist agency hands your role to its own consultants. At Muzzo, it goes to the headhunters with the best results on that exact job: an instructional designer and a campus director do not go through the same headhunter.

If the new hire leaves within 3 months, we restart the search at no cost. If no replacement is found within 4 months, we refund 50% of the fee. Getting started is free and non-exclusive.

your questions about hiring in the training sector

On average, a Muzzo hire takes 26 days, across all roles, over the last 12 months. To be ready for the start of term or a new intake, launch the mission early enough. The Muzzo team helps you plan the timing from your first conversation.

Through direct approach. The headhunters know training providers, schools and edtech companies. They contact people who have already done the job, including those who are not looking, and check their references.

Yes. The headhunter looks for someone who has already run a budget, a team of trainers and relationships with employers and funders. They also check experience with quality audits.

Give the role to a headhunter who has already recruited training salespeople. They look for people who sell to companies and know how training is funded in France: OPCOs, skills development plans, the CPF personal training account. They check the results achieved before introducing anyone.

Yes. Quality managers, corporate relations officers, heads of learning: the headhunter checks that the profile has already prepared a Qualiopi audit or managed apprenticeship contracts, depending on the role.
