one last question?

You set the fee for each role, between 5 and 30%. You only pay it once the person is hired. No fixed fees, no deposit. If you don't hire, you pay nothing. The Muzzo team helps you choose the right amount.

You have a double guarantee. If your new hire leaves within 3 months, we restart the search at no cost. If we don't find a replacement within 4 months, we refund 50% of the fees. On average, 94% of new hires are still in post after 3 months.

Click “get started” and describe your role in two steps. The Muzzo team gets back to you to refine the need. Then the headhunters with the most hires for this role get to work. Launching is free, with no exclusivity.

the reality

a good full stack developer isn't judged by a list of technologies

01

“full stack” doesn't mean the same thing everywhere

In a startup, it's someone who ships a feature from the database to the screen. In a scale-up, it's often a strong back-end profile who can work on the front end. The headhunter first pins down which one you need.

02

the best are in a job and no longer reply

An experienced full stack developer gets messages from recruiters every week. They ignore them. A tech headhunter approaches them with your product, your stack and your team, not with a job ad.

03

the coding test doesn't tell you everything

Writing React and Node doesn't tell you whether someone can choose between shipping fast and shipping clean. The headhunter checks what the profile has actually put into production, and in which team.

the profiles

the full stack developers our headhunters go after for you

Every stack and every level goes to a headhunter who has already recruited that profile.

  1. full stack JavaScript and TypeScript

React or Vue on the interface, Node or NestJS on the server. The profile startups and scale-ups ask for most often.

    already hired through Muzzo

  2. full stack Java Spring Boot

Java and Spring Boot on the server, a JavaScript framework on the interface. Common in banking, insurance and business software publishers.

    already hired through Muzzo

  3. full stack C# and .NET

The Microsoft ecosystem end to end, often at B2B software publishers and in the IT departments of large groups.

    already hired through Muzzo

  4. full stack web and mobile

One person for both the web app and the mobile app, with Flutter or React Native. Useful while the team is still small.

    already hired through Muzzo

  5. founding full stack engineer

The first or second developer of a startup. They build the product from scratch, choose the stack and talk directly to customers.

    already hired through Muzzo

  6. senior full stack in a scale-up

They join a team that is already structured: code review, tests, frequent releases. They help the more junior developers grow.

  7. full stack PHP Symfony or Python Django

Proven stacks, still widely used in e-commerce, media and internal tools.

the method

one headhunter per role, not one firm for everything

We have tracked every headhunter since November 2020, on three criteria: how many hires they make, the quality of their profiles, their speed.

01

you describe the role

You fill in the form, then we talk it through: the stack, the level, the front-end and back-end split, the salary. You set the fee, between 5 and 30%.

02

we choose the headhunters

From more than 2,500 selected headhunters, we keep those with the most developer hires on your stack.

03

you meet the right profiles

The headhunters approach every profile and check what they have already shipped, on which stack. You receive a handful of CVs, all of them relevant.

04

you only pay if you hire

Nothing to pay upfront. No fixed fees, no deposit.

hiring a full stack developer: what you need to know

why hiring a full stack developer takes time

A good full stack developer is approached constantly and rarely answers generic messages. According to Dares, the French labour ministry's statistics office, hiring pressure in IT eased markedly in 2024, but the field is still under strong pressure: there are not enough people, and the jobs require specific training.

So full stack developer recruitment needs a headhunter who speaks tech, knows your stack and can pitch your project precisely: product, team, technical debt, how you ship.

why hiring a full stack developer takes time

one full stack developer or two specialists?

A full stack developer covers front end and back end, shipping a feature end to end. It is the right call for a young product team, a first tech hire or a product that changes fast. As the application grows, volume and complexity push towards specialists, front end on one side, backend on the other.

In the brief, say which way the role leans. A front-leaning full stack on React and a back-leaning full stack on Java are neither the same hire nor the same headhunter.

one full stack developer or two specialists?

the full stack technologies our headhunters know

JavaScript and TypeScript (React, Vue, Node.js), Java with Spring Boot and Angular, C# and .NET, PHP with Symfony, Python with Django. Each stack has its communities, meetups and reference companies. A headhunter who knows yours knows where to look and whom to call.

They check what the person has shipped to production, at what scale and in which team. A list of technologies on a CV says little; a project explained in detail says a lot.

full stack developers in France: remote work, pay and the Syntec agreement

Remote work is part of the offer. State upfront how many days are expected in the office: it is often the first reason a role is accepted or turned down. A role outside Paris also appeals to developers who want to leave the capital.

Many French tech companies, IT services firms and consultancies apply the Syntec collective agreement (technical design offices, engineering consultancies and consulting firms), which sets job grades and minimum salaries. The headhunter benchmarks your offer against the market, not just the minimums.

how much does it cost to hire a full stack developer with Muzzo?

Most agencies charge a percentage of the new hire's gross annual salary, sometimes with a deposit when the search starts. With Muzzo, you set the fee, between 5 and 30%, and you only pay it on hire. No deposit, no fixed fees, and getting started is free, with no exclusivity.

If the new hire leaves within 3 months, we restart the search at no cost. If no replacement is found within 4 months, we refund 50% of the fee. On average, a Muzzo hire is signed in 26 days, from brief to signature.

your questions about hiring full stack developers

On average, a Muzzo hire takes 26 days, across all roles, over the last 12 months. For a full stack developer, the timing depends mostly on the stack, the level you expect and your remote work policy. The Muzzo team gives you an estimate from your first conversation.

Early in a product, a full stack developer moves faster: one person ships a whole feature. As the product grows, the workload often pushes you to split front end and back end. The headhunter helps you decide before the search starts.

An IT services firm bills you for a consultant by the day. With Muzzo, you hire a developer who joins your team, and you pay once, on hire. Your role goes to the headhunters with the most developer hires, chosen from more than 2,500 selected headhunters.

Yes. Our headhunters recruit for teams in Paris, in the regions and fully remote. Tell us from the start how many days you expect in the office: it is one of the first things developers look at.
